FOLKIE Marína hearts
The heart is a very often used symbol on folk embroidery. For our ancestors, love was a very important feeling. We do not have a better-known love story in Slovakia than the story of Andrej Sládkovič and his Marína. That's why I decided to create these small and delicate earrings with hearts, inspired by the poem Marína and embroidery from the folk costume from Očová.
